The Carltons

Wow! Where do I begin?! Let me first say that Michelle and Nate are so much more than just a couple I have photographed a few times. No. They are two people that became my friends thanks to photography! I met them a few years ago and have developed a friendship that I am so grateful for! When they asked me to photograph their wedding I was HONORED! Like are you kidding me?! YES I WILL!!!! And I am so glad I did! Their wedding was stunning! So many details that were beautiful and so much fun to photograph! Michelles friend Camille did all of the calligraphy you’ll see (I’ll post her info at the end!) and holy crap is she talented! Michelles dress was made for her! She glowed! Her hair and makeup just amplified how much of a beauty she is! During their first look, which was on a cliff overlooking the Pacific ocean, it was sooo windy, romantic, intimate, and just the perfect spot for Nate to see Michelle for the first time! We took a ton of photos and then headed down to the beach to meet up with their bridal party for more photos! And *phew did we WALK! They were all such troopers getting to the spot to take photos, the walk was WORTH IT! Then it was ceremony time! It was on the beach with all of their close family and friends.. and Molly (their super cute pitbull) up at the front! Everyone laughed and cried as they witnessed Nate and Michelle become husband and wife, I mean how could you not?! They signed their marriage license, and afterwards were welcomed into their reception with their first dane! It was magical! Then they ate, took tequila shots, cut the cake, and got to spend time with their guests! I stole them away for sunset photos on the beach! We drove Nates baby (his brand new 4runner) onto the beach and they danced and ran in the sand! It was perfect…until a cop pulled up and told us that we werent suppose to be on this certain part of the beach (oops!) no wonder there wasn’t anyone where we were! Thankfully we were already done! We drove back to the reception where they all danced the night away (literally)! Their reception was a BLAST and I was definitely entertained by all of their dance moves! They ended the night with a sparkler send off! What a day! I cant thank those two enough for trusting me with capturing such a special day, but I am so glad they chose me! I love these two so much and I am so excited for you to see their perfect day!!! xx.
